Helmet Technician Training at Heavy Metal Divers

Helmet Technician Training

Hands-on instruction from a working-diver manufacturer.

Most helmet problems are solved by whoever is standing on deck with the right training. We teach that work.

Helmet technician training is hands-on instruction from a working-diver manufacturer, the same procedures we use in our own shop to inspect, service, and rebuild the Gladiator and the Poseidon Xstream regulator it is built around.

Training is built around your crews own helmets and your working conditions. Tell us what you run and what your technicians need to be able to do, and we will shape the course around it.

What this covers

  • Regulator and valving service procedures
  • Inspection standards and documentation

Process

How training is delivered.

01

Scope call

We start with your helmets, your working conditions, and the jobs your technicians need to handle in the field.

02

Classroom and bench

Instruction covers regulator service procedures, sideblock valving, exhaust, and comms with the helmet open on the bench in front of you.

03

Inspection standards

What to look for, what is a field fix, what comes back to the shop, and how to document both.

04

Hands-on practice

Technicians perform the procedures themselves on real helmets, under supervision, until they can do the work unaided.

05

Follow-up support

Crews leave with a servicing reference and a direct line to us for technical questions.
